The deburring process consists in the removal of burrs, that is, that part of material that appears in excess in the products obtained by molding or with mechanical or cutting processes.<\/strong> The purpose of deburring is therefore to make the obtained piece perfect and is aimed at eliminating excess material along the contours and between the joints. It also makes the edges of the machined pieces linear.<\/span><\/h4>\n

To carry out the deburring process, special deburring machines can be used, or the pieces are subjected to tumbling or sandblasting or even thermal deburring is used.<\/strong> This operation is performed by expert and qualified personnel, a task facilitated by modern and efficient machines as well as a careful choice of materials for processing in order to guarantee quality and productivity.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Deburring machines have different characteristics based on the material to be treated and the type of surface they need to make perfect. There are deburring machines which act “by contact” and which are equipped with abrasive belts or brushes to remove excess material.<\/strong> Thinking horizontally, vertically or in a circle, they can eliminate burrs from flat, cylindrical surfaces, but also with a square or oval section.<\/span><\/h4>\n
